The Sanctuary by Arika Stone

Eve was on sabbatical from her job as an event planner. She was the tops in her field. While taking some down time, she went to Finland. It was the perfect place, she thought, because no one would know her.  She met Val there. An artist in every media, Val captured her attention like no other man had.  Val would also expose Eve to things she's never thought of before. Can they survive?

This book is romantic with just the right amount of hot sex.  That being said, this really could have been divided into two books and been even more interesting.  Dark pleasures seem to be introduced in this book but go far beyond what most in the BDSM world would when introducing someone new. The writing is good and the characters are okay.  You'll like this book after you get into it.

I did find issues.  The book seems to repeat itself, SO much!  It can be very dry reading if they aren't traveling or there isn't a sex scene involved. In places you have to really work hard to stay engaged.

I gave this one 3 cheers out of 5 for the issues stated.
